Welcome to Active Education Outdoor Experience

Active Education is situated on a wide bend on Dora Creek, just outside Morisset in the Lake Macquarie area.The immediate water access is the biggest asset to the centre as it gives the 100 acres block a particularly fertile environment and easy access to all the water activities. It is also situated close to the Watagan Mountains where expeditions and natural rock climbing and abseiling are conducted.

Active Education specialises in single school programs, where all focus can be flexible, individual and directed to your students. The thrilling activities are designed to further develop the peer bonding between students.

For something a little different, however, Active Education also offers a range of expedition style camp. Students can bushwalk in the Watagan Moutains, camp overnight, and compete in natural rock face abseiling and climbing. This is a great introduction for students to the bush, or a fine extension for those students who are already familiar with remote environments.

Either way we can adapt the program to suit the needs and interest of each group.

Active Education offers substantial bunk style accommodation in permanent dormitories. This makes Active Education a great camp year round.
